THEMIS engineers, scientists, and the project manager meet to discuss the successes they have had developing and testing the THEMIS instruments. They also meet to discuss issues they are facing. These meetings happen every day so that the THEMIS team knows what has been done and what their action items will be for the day. Such meetings facilitate brainstorming on how to solve problems that arise and provide a way for everyone to be involved in putting the instruments together. This regular meeting minimizes errors that can occur when there is a break in communication between engineers, scientists, and/or the project manager.
