THEMIS Magnetometer Installation at Carson City
Robert Collier, David Pierce, and Gerald Brandvold outside checking the GPS cable
We began the day by making sure that the GPS cable was long enough to reach behind the fence where it would be installed. Dr. Robert Collier, the professor at Western Nevada Community College and operator of the observatory where the magnetometer is being installed is on the left. In the middle is David Pierce, our magnetometer engineer. On the right is Gerald Brandvold who works with Robert Collier.
